37 weeks and 3 to go...maybe

On Sept 12th I had a regular appt just to check to see how the baby was progressing and an ultrasound to see how big he was. Well he is big. I was @ 35 weeks then and he was over 7 lbs and breech. So the doc and I discussed some options. I got home and talked to my hubby about things. We decided to go ahead and have a C-section for the safety of the baby and me. The doc does not think I will make it to my due date of Oct 14th. At this point I don't care, I am ready for this baby to be here.....lol. I had another appt last Tuesday. The baby has turned, so he is no longer breech, but he is still big. The doc gave me no indication that she would induce. It still sounds like I might have a c-section. Which I am still very nervous about. Well, what can ya do right. I would rather have the c-section than push and push for hrs, just to have an emergency c-section. Ya know what I mean. So that's what's going on here. I have another appt on Friday. Hopefully we will have a clearer picture then as to what is going to happen. Hope everyone has a good weekend!

Like father....like son

Aren't these adorable? My friend Kasi had them made for us. I just absolutely love them! Her friend made them and did an awesome job. Nothing new going on here. Will update on my doc appt tomorrow. Have a good night.

Isn't it cute?

This is a picture of the toy box that Adam has built for the baby. We are not done with it yet. We are going to put polyurethane on it, to preserve it. I was gonna paint it, but I think the wood is too pretty to paint. I was also gonna put Winnie the Pooh stenciling on it, but I thought that when Aiden is 13, his friends will prolly make fun of him. We were thinking when he gets older we could line the box with cedar and he can use it as a blanket chest or something. We are going to put his name on it, but I think that it is it. If any of you guys out there have any suggestions let me know. Input is always good.

On another note, I have another ultrasound on Tuesday, just to see how BIG this baby really is. I am little nervous. I hope he is not to big. I am getting down to the end here. I am now 35 weeks. Aiden is moving all the time. I can't tell if he is face down or up. Obviously I hope he is down. My mom will be here in less then a month. I am so excited, I can't hardly stand it. My sister will be here shortly after my mom gets here. WOOHOO! I am ready to have this baby. Maybe not mentally, but physically I am. I want my body back.....lol.
