Merry Christmas!

Me and hubby are getting ready to go to Georgia for Christmas. It should be good times. Since we are little short with cash this year, we are making sweets to take down there. Here in Ohio they have this candy called Buckeye Balls. My hubby tried them and said they were good. So we decided to give them a shot. I also made peppermint bark, which is really good. I got the recipe off the food network website. It is a tradition in my family that on Christmas morning we would have fresh homemade cranberry bread and hot cocoa. So being away from my family, me and hubby have decided to do the same. I going to be a baking momma tonight.

I wish I could be home with my family. My grandpa passed away 2 weeks ago, and it is going to be hard on the rest of the family, but grandpa wouldn't want us to not have a good time, and be sad because he is not around. Hopefully my family will still have a very Merry Christmas.

Hope everyone has a great Christmas and Happy New Year!!!

Decorating is Done!

Yesterday Adam put the lights on the house and we decorated the Christmas Tree. It is all very pretty. It is pretty damn cold here. We had what they call a wintery mix. It was just freezing rain. I don't know what a Cali girl like me is doing out here. It is damn cold!!!Here are a couple of pics of the house and the tree. Enjoy!
