Back in lovely(dreary) Ohio
I got back from Cali yesterday. I had a GREAT time. I can't wait to go back there for good. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with my family in the desert. We enjoyed nice weather. It was 85 degrees. Nice, considering on Wed Cincinnati saw at least 2" of snow...BUUUURRRRR. Me and Hubby stayed with my dad a couple of days. On saturday night, I got together with all my friends and went to this place called Eagles Nest. It is at an Indian casino called Pechanga. We had a blast. We partied hardy for my b-day. My choice of drink that night was Red Bull and Vodka. What a yummy combination. I will post pics of the celebration shortly! Sunday was my actual birthday, and my mom and dad cooked me lumpia. Boy, was it yummy. My family came out for that. Then Monday was my last day in Cali. I went by and saw one of my bestest friends, and then when I left there, my other bestest friend came over and hung out for a lil bit. I was very sad to leave on Tuesday morning. When we finally got back to Cincy, I had to get my hubby packed, because he had to Oklahoma for work. He really hates to fly.
On a sad note. My mom called me last night, and told me that my grandpa had a heart attack. It must not have been to serious, he was able to tell my grandma he thought he was having one. She rushed him to the hospital, and they did confirm he had a heart attack. He is still in the hospital with a heparin drip(blood thinner). Hopefully he will be able to go home tomorrow or Friday. He has a Tee time at a fancy resort. He told my grandma not to cancel the reservations yet....lol. This is what I hate about living so far away. I wanted to hop back on that airplane and go home, so I could be with my family. Hopefully this will be our last year away from family. Keep my grandpa in your thoughts and prayers.
